Stairlifts
Stairlifts in Palmyra, PA
Palmyra sits between Hershey and Lebanon, and we have done eight jobs here, seven of them stairlifts, which is about as high a stairlift share as any town we serve. North Londonderry Township is nearly a third residents over 65, Cornwall is close to four in ten, and Annville and Campbelltown are full of homes where the bedrooms are upstairs and the owner intends to keep them there.
Palmyra, Annville, Campbelltown, and Cornwall homes
Palmyra borough is a grid of brick twins and single homes from the early 1900s along Main Street and the numbered streets, with straight, fairly steep staircases and a door at the top. North Londonderry Township, which wraps the borough, is newer: ranches, split-levels, and two-story homes from the 1970s onward, and the developments east toward Campbelltown. Annville, around Lebanon Valley College, has older homes with turning staircases and a tight back stair to the kitchen. Cornwall is stone homes and the cottages near Cornwall Manor, where the second floor is often reached by a narrow, winding flight.
Being a stairlift near Hershey matters here. Many Palmyra and Campbelltown families are connected to Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center, either as patients coming home or as staff whose parents live nearby, and the need for a safe staircase often arrives with a discharge date. We are in this corridor most weeks, so a visit fits quickly.
Our Palmyra and Annville installs include a curved rail custom fit to a turning staircase in Palmyra and a curved lift in Annville. The recent work strip below pulls them live.

Stairlift options for Lebanon County homes
Straight stairlifts: the Savaria K2 is our recommendation for the straight twin and ranch flights that make up most of Palmyra, 350 lb, slim fold, 3 year parts warranty. The K2 Plus adds a 400 lb rating. Curved stairlifts: the Handicare 4000 for Annville and Cornwall staircases with a turn or a landing, or the UP where the owner wants the powered swivel seat and a shorter lead time. Used stairlift in Lebanon County: certified pre-owned K2 and Harmar Pinnacle units, reconditioned with new batteries and a 3 month service warranty, when stock allows. Rental: a straight K2 for a recovery, $1,295 to start and $150 a month after three months. Outdoor: an outdoor-rated K2 for porch steps. See new and used stairlifts for the buying guide.
What a stairlift costs around Palmyra
Rail length sets most of the price, then straight versus curved, then options. A short twin flight in the borough and a long split-level run in North Londonderry are quoted differently even with the same lift. The written quote covers the lift, the rail cut to your stairs, installation, and the first year of service, and Pennsylvania residents with a doctor's note pay no sales tax. Financing is available. The broad brackets are in the FAQ; the exact number comes from a free visit or from the online stairlift quote within 24 hours.
Installation in Palmyra and Annville
We measure, confirm the parking position and which side the rail runs on, and check headroom at the top of older stairs. A straight lift is installed within a week or two of the visit, in two to three hours, with the rail on the treads and nothing on the walls. Curved rails arrive two to five weeks after the order and go in the same week. Straight answers
Stairlifts in Palmyra: common questions
How much does a stairlift cost in Palmyra?
A new straight lift for a Palmyra twin or ranch usually lands between about $3,000 and $8,000 installed, with the rail length deciding where in that range. A reconditioned unit is roughly half, and a curved rail for an Annville or Cornwall staircase generally starts somewhere around $10,000. No travel charge applies here.
Do you cover Annville, Campbelltown, and Cornwall?
Yes. Annville, Cleona, Campbelltown, Cornwall, Mount Gretna, and North and South Londonderry townships are all on the same route as Palmyra and Hershey.
Can a stairlift handle the winding stairs in an older Cornwall or Annville home?
Usually. A curved rail is built from our measurements to follow the turn, and it mounts to the treads so stone and plaster walls stay untouched. Where headroom is very low we adjust the parking position.
How fast can you install a stairlift near Hershey?
A free visit usually fits within a few days, and a straight Savaria K2 can often be installed within a week of the visit. For a fixed discharge date, a rental can sometimes go in sooner.
Do you sell used stairlifts in Lebanon County?
Yes, when we have reconditioned units in stock. Each is inspected, fitted with new batteries, cut to your staircase, and backed by a 3 month service warranty.
