Why the Pollock Medium
The size we recommend first
Wide enough for a walker, a companion, or a person and the laundry basket. Most households use an elevator this way.
Still a small footprint
Thirty-three inches wide and under thirty deep. It sits beside a staircase or in a foyer without taking over the room.
The same cab
Glass panels, LED lighting, the optional fold-down seat, and the floor cover that rises with the cab.
Light construction
A framed opening, a wall to carry the rails, and a 115V circuit. Then two to three days of installation.

Questions we hear every week
Does a walker fit?
Yes. A standard folding walker and its user fit the Medium, which is the main reason we recommend it over the Compact for anyone planning ahead. A wheelchair does not; that is the Wheelchair cab.
How big is the floor opening?
Larger than the cab, to allow for the rails and the floor cover. The floor opening drawing gives the framed dimensions for your carpenter.
Can the door be on the other side?
The door hinge side is chosen when we order, and same-side or opposite-side entry between floors is set by where the rails go. We settle both at the measurement visit.
What does the Medium cost?
A step above the Compact and well under a traditional elevator with a hoistway. Cabin height, door side, floor finish, and site work move the number, so we quote after a visit. Financing is available.
Is the Pollock Medium the right size for your home?
Call and tell us who will ride it and where it would go. We will come measure, check the floor and the wall, and leave a written price. The drawings in the documents section of this page are ready to hand to your builder.
